Oil painter Anita Mosher grew up in Kansas City and first studied art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art when she was six years old. She has maintained a studio in Denver, CO since 1992. Her work has been featured in articles numerous times in Southwest Art magazine including "Artist to Watch" in 2001 and in American Art Collector, Western Art Collector, Colorado Expressions, Vail Art. She is a signature member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painter's Society and the Outdoor Painters Society and a founding signature member of Plein Air Artists Colorado. Her work is in many private and public collections, including Jack Nicholson, John Elway, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Good Samaritan Hospital, Children's Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital, Colorado State University, Steel Street Bank & Trust, Crown Hill Mortuary, the Trailhead Lodge and the Vail Valley Medical Center. Anita participates in major national and regional art
shows including the Settlers West Gallery American Miniature show, Trailside
Galleries Masters in Miniature show, Mountain Oyster Club Annual Contemporary
Western Art, Colorado Governor's Invitational Art Show, Art for the
Sangres and the Gilcrease Museum American Art in Miniature.
