Redstone Plein Air Painting Workshop with Dione Holt

Join us for a 3-day plein air painting workshop, where the breathtaking Crystal Valley becomes your studio.

Each morning and afternoon session will include a demonstration followed by ample time to paint on your own. You will be provided with one-on-one coaching to help improve your painting and each day will finish with a group share and critique.

Skill Level: All skill levels are welcome; however, it is best to have some painting experience.

September 6th - 8th 2024, 9 am - 4 pm, $450.00 Maximum of 15 participants.

Inclusions: A light complimentary breakfast, catered lunch, drinks and snacks daily. A group dinner will be provided on Friday evening catered by a local restaurant.

Materials: Bring your own materials, all painting media welcome

Paintouts Cancelled until the Virus passes

Due to the Covid-19 virus and potential for exposure, Colorado is bringing on a new ordinance geared toward curtailing outdoor activities and we will be cancelling all PAAC weekly/regular paintouts until at least April 11.

Debra Joy Groesser announced as PAAC's newest Master Signature Member

PAAC's Board and Masters have elevated Debra Joy Groesser to PAAC Master Signature status.

Deb is a nationally known and award winning plein air artist, and participates widely in many significant plein air events each year.

She has been interviewed on the podcast Artists Helping Artists, profiled in national art publications, and is the CEO/President of the American Impressionist Society.

Deb has also been an ardent supporter of PAAC. She has served on the board, and has chaired two of our annual exhibitions. Even after stepping down from the board, she has generously mentored other board members and show chairs. She has been the presenter of awards at several PAAC exhibitions, and spoken at presentations.

Deb has greatly contributed to the ongoing success of PAAC, and we have no doubt that she will continue to do so.

PAAC has a new Website!

We're very excited about our new website! It's designed to be more interactive and responsive for both visitors and members.

Our weekly paint outs are still listed, and each paint out group now has their own page.

News and Events are easier to find, with the home page showing the latest, and all of the News and Events listed on their own dedicated pages.

Current Members are shown on the Members' pages.

Here's a fun new feature - when you sign up for an event, you'll be able to indicate whether you want your name shown as an attendee. This will help with carpooling and finding roommates, or just to see if your favorite painting buddies will be there.

Current Members who log in will be able to see member’s only content and sign up for member’s only events.

2015 and 2016 PAAC Members - log in and click on your name at the top right corner to edit your profile. (If you don't know your password, click on "Forgot Password", and follow the instructions in the email.)

Your profile will show whether it's time for you to renew.
If you like, you can add a photo of yourself, an image of your plein air artwork, your bio, and a link to your blog. This info will appear in the Member Directory. You can change your privacy settings to reflect how much of your profile info you want to share. The Member Directory will be instantly updated when you add information.
