Colorado Springs -  JUNE 2025

The 28th Annual National PAAC Show will be August 25-October 5 in Central City, Colorado at the Art Gallery in Washington Hall this year. The entry deadline is June 30th. Please check the PAAC website for details and to enter.

Tuesday, June 3, Suzanne’s house 9:00-12:00, 14 West Cheyenne Road. Paint a charming Victorian house, barn, gardens, chickens. Hopefully her iris and peonies will be in bloom. Bathrooms available.

Thursday, June 5, 9:00-12:00, Fountain Creek Nature Center 320 Peppergrass Lane, Fountain. Paint Pikes Peak, pond, streams, trails, etc. Bathrooms available in the Nature Center.

Tuesday, June 10, 9:00-12:00, Nancy Medina’s house, 4020 Saddle Rock Road. Paint a beautiful garden. Bathroom available.

Thursday, June 12, 9:00-12:00. Kettle Lakes. This park is outside of the southern Air Force Academy gate. Take exit 150 off of 1-25. This is Academy Blvd, but turn north. Drive towards the Air Academy (Left off of 1-25) and take the first right after that. Turn in by the sign that says Pass and Registration building. Go past that building down a dirt road to the gate. There are 2 different places to park there. Last summer a port-a-potty was available. Paint views of Pikes Peak, streams, ponds, etc. We’ve seen heron, bald eagles, and lots of planes.

Tuesday, June17, 9:00-12:00, Demonstration Garden (HAS), 222 Mesa Road. Paint the flower gardens, Monument Creek. No bathrooms available (except further south into Monument Valley Park).

Thursday, June 19, 9:00-12:00, Rock Ledge Ranch, Chambers Way and Pike. Park near Chambers Way and Pike on the south end of RLR. Paint the historic buildings, ponds, farm animals, barn, and mountains. Bathrooms available in the carriage house.

Tuesday, June 24, 9:00-12:00, Joan Schulz house, 1325 North Cascade Avenue. Paint water features, flowers, Victorian house.

No paint-out on Thursday, June 26 because of the FOX Garden tour on June 28-29th. Please consider being a garden painter for the FOX garden tour June 28-29, 2025. You can do both days or just one. Contact Suzanne Favier if you are interested. Her contact is 719-510-3613 sfavier@live.com
