Suggestions for paintout locations are greatly appreciated.  Ideally locations have adequate parking, restrooms and painting options near parking area.  Note that restrooms may not always be available.

October 2026

Oct 6 – Staunton State Park

Mountain meadows, cliffs, aspens. Meet behind the Visitor’s Center for view of Lions Head or

short walk to meadows. For those that can, bring lunch and picnic at noon.

Oct 13 – Blackmer Lake/Highline Canal, end of S Dahlia St in Cherry Hills Village

Canal trail, pond, mountain views. Limited parking so get there early or wait for others to leave,

there are no restrooms. COORDINATOR NOT PRESENT.

Oct 20 – Chatfield State Park Cottonwood Grove

Cottonwood trees and paths. Drive over the dam and pass the dog park to the end of the road.

Meet in the parking lot.

Oct 27 – 17 Mile House Farm Park, Parker

Historic farmhouse, windmills, meadows.
