From Hwy 160 take N. Pagosa Blvd. about 6 miles; turn left at mailboxes and park in lot just beyond.

7/9/26 Bruce Spruce Ranch
Meet in front of Bruce Spruce Office (no cell coverage unless using wifi--inquire at office).
Drive east from Pagosa toward Treasure Falls, turn left at Bruce Spruce CG sign (231 West Fork Rd.)
15.3 miles from Jct. 160 & 84
Tall trees, mountain views, creek, trails; restrooms in shower house.
Camp the night before or drive up and find a parking spot on Friday morning; carpooling encouraged--limited parking

Take Piedra / CR 600 about 19 miles from downtown Pagosa; parking lot on left, trail runs south along the river.

Scenic views, hiking if interested, river access, CG bathroom. Can be windy/sunny.
Option: park on Taylor Ln. pullout near Upper Piedra Campground, rather than hike to a painting spot.

7/30/26 CR 630 in Turkey Springs (Lise gone so No host for this paint out)
Located 3.1 miles from Piedra/CR 600; follow Turkey Springs Rd to CR 630; turn right & drive ~1 mile; park at the ATV parking area on left (look for ATV sign and map).
Dirt parking lot, no facilities; some shade; bring water, sunscreen & snacks.
Panoramic view of Pagosa Peak and surrounding mountains beyond wide-open range.

8/6/26 La Ventana / South Hatcher shore
Turn left onto La Ventana from Piedra (CR 600) at South Shore Estates sign; pkg lot & shelter on right.
Porta-john, picnic shelter, paved parking, views, water, fishing dock, trail.
Rocky (dry if past runoff season) streambed and cliff; fishing jetty, lake & mountain views

8/13/26 Powerline Trailhead
Small parking area, corner of Aspenglow and N. Pagosa Blvd.
Short walk downhill to Dutton Creek, or along the ridge to find a good spot.
No services.
Wooded trail, may encounter hikers and MTBers on trail. Possible views of Dutton Creek; shade.

Park at the Pickle Ball Courts, and walk toward the Yamaguchi Takeout on the river.
