Your suggestions for paint-out locations are encouraged.  Ideal locations have parking, restrooms. Some of our unique dispersed locations may not be convenient for restrooms within short walking distances, but can be with a minimal drive.

Thursday 9/3 -  2-week repeat! by popular demand - we are going again to Steamboat Lake State Park  - Enter at Visitor Center and go towards shore line.  Look for the easels  North of Steamboat Springs approximately 29 miles https://maps.app.goo.gl/kp5Nx3ncxxbNFwBf6   Great place to practice mixing those fall colors! Paint with local artists: Sandy, Suzie, Susi, and others from Clark and Hahn’s Peak Village and Oak Creek, Yampa, Steamboat Springs.  View of Hahn’s Peak,  Sand Mountain, Steamboat Lake, Cabins, etc. restrooms at Steamboat Lake State Park Visitor's office.  Requires Colorado State Park daily pass, or 12-month annual Pass.  Best annual price is from DMV w/ vehicle registration for $29, otherwise, online, or at entrance if needed.  Meet: Look for your painting pal’s easel as many may arrive early.

Thursday 9/10  -      Fish Creek Falls,   34165 Fish Creek Falls Rd, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. Restrooms.  Parking limited, arrive early. Note: National Park Pass gets free parking, otherwise $5 at gate per carload.  Lower bridge view (1/4 mi trail hike) and easier walks to mid & upper view with covered seating area. Meet: Painting at lower bridge or one of the upper view areas.  

Thursday 9/17 - Yampa River Botanic Park, 1000 Pamela Ln, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487,  Free.  Lily Pond is Peaking! with Monet style bridge, water features, Yampa River shoreline, Restroom facilities with sinks. Meet:  In the gardens 

* Thursday 9/24 -OPEN -Paint to your heart’s desire.   Aspens and ash and cottonwoods are Peaking! Most Thursday painters are in the Steamboat Art Museum Plein Air event this week.  Hope you just get out there!

September delay start times from 8 AM to 8:30 AM   - but you can still arrive early or anytime you wish 

October Paint-outs will start at 8:30 AM

Thursday 10/1 - 8:30 Rotary Park shoreline of Yampa between parking lot and Gazebo and on onto the boardwalk.  As it gets cooler, odds of fog on the river increase for a spectacular setting before the sun cooks it off.
