Biography
Tricia Bass paints with a painterly, expressive style with a touch of Russian influence. She resides in Golden, Colorado and enjoys painting throughout the Rocky Mountain West. Bass has won a number of significant awards and honors including 1st Place Associate Plein Air Artist Of Colorado 2011, 3rd Place at the 2009 Wyoming Plein Air, 2nd Place at the Plein Air Along The Yellowstone 2013 and she has twice be selected to participate in the American Impressionist Society National Exhibition. Most recently she has been an awarded participant in the national touring "Paint The Parks" exhibition. "The best part of my week is when I'm standing behind a paintbrush or cruising through an art book", the artist states. Tricia's work is influenced by American painter Edgar Payne, as well as Russian's Sergei Bongart and Fedor Zakharov.
