Biography
Like any plein air painter, I love being outdoors. Most days I am indoors in my art studio teaching classes and helping customers frame their art, buy art supplies or collect art. I opened the Showcase Art Center in beautiful downtown Greeley nearly 3 decades ago. As interim downtown director, I wanted to help revitalize a downtown in need of such a task. Now it is exploding. It is a state Creative District, has many new high rise residential buildings, a new innovation library, a Hilton hotel convention center, and several museums. I am a signature member of Colorado Watercolor Society although I paint in many media and sculpt for bronze castings. I wrote 2 books for Wiley Publishing: Watercolor for Dummies and Acrylic Painting for Dummies.
